Q: What is my property worth?

All properties have their own unique charm and qualities. Our staff will provide you with information on comparable properties within the area and a realistic opinion on its rental. The final say is yours of course, but keep in mind that it is the market demand that sets the rent as well as the property.


Q: What information is collected when selecting the right tenant for me?

The more, the better we say. Our management staff supplies all prospective tenants with a tenancy application outlining their current and previous rental history, supporting documentation and employment details. Our property manager will then screen the application by calling all references and ensure that they meet all the requirements. Sources such as Tenant Databases are also used to certify that the tenant does not have a bad history. 


Q: What happens with repairs?

All repairs are sighted by our staff before a call to you is made. We have many qualified tradesman who can repair or replace items. All work is quoted beforehand and must be approved by you. We understand that you may like to use your own tradesman and therefore provide you with assistance with access times.


Q: Who pays for repairs?

All invoices can be paid by us from the rent for peace of mind at no charge to you. We can also pay your water, strata and council rates leaving you time to enjoy the finer things.


Q: What if my tenant falls behind in rent?

Reports are run daily and tenants are notified immediately. Our property management team strives for rent to be paid on time as according to the tenancy agreement. 


Q. How long will it take to lease my property?

RRE Properties has a comprehensive marketing campaign system tailored to rental properties. 87% of properties in 2010 were rented within 14 days.


Q. What if I want a higher rental amount?

You may place your property on the market at whatever rental amount you wish., however unltimately the marketplace ie tenants will ultimately dictate the level in which the property will achieve.


Q. What is the length of the average tenancy?

At RRE for many reasons that may be discussed with you, we recommend a six (6) month lease period.


Q. Are pets allowed in my property?

Ultimately this is a personal decision that you may accept or decline. RRE properties works for you thus we do have certain special conditions and clauses to help safegaurd our landlords from potential damages.

Thes conditions are:

  1. No additional pet may occupy the property without prior permission.
  2. The pet may not come inside the property.
  3. Any damage caused by their pet, and clean up any mess left by the pet.
  4. The tenant must have the property professionally fumigated inside and outside upon vacating the property with a receipt provided to the managing agent for varification

Q. Does my tenant pay for water usage?

As a general rule, water usage is paid for residential homes with metres by the tenant, however apartments without separate metres are not paid by tenants.
